We’re seeking an Assistant Centre Leader/ S enior Reception who will work in close partnership with the Centre Leader to ensure the smooth, efficient and professional operation of our busy dental practice. This role is ideal for someone with strong medical administration, front-of-house or coordination experience who loves leading teams, improving processes, and creating an outstanding patient experience. You’ll support daily operations, help lead a high-performing team, and step into a variety of tasks — from reception, to patient flow, to compliance and clinic readiness. Dental experience is a bonus, but absolutely not essential — we will train you in any clinical support elements required. What’s on offer: Full-time, permanent position (9-day fortnight available) Modern practice with 4 dental chairs and a warm, supportive team A hands-on leadership role where you shape the daily rhythm of the centre Close working partnership with an experienced, supportive Centre Leader Genuine influence on patient experience, clinic efficiency and team success Duties & Responsibilities Working side-by-side with the Centre Leader, you will help oversee, coordinate and elevate all aspects of centre operations, including: Reception Leadership: Manage front-of-house service, patient flow, payments, and bookings Operational Support: Assist the Centre Leader with daily planning, problem-solving and centre coordination Team Support & Mentoring: Help train, guide and motivate the Dental Assistant team Stock & Supply Oversight: Partner with the Centre Leader on ordering, stock management and budgeting Rostering & Scheduling: Assist with staff scheduling to ensure smooth clinic operations Compliance & Quality: Support adherence to safety, infection control and clinical best practice (training provided) Patient Experience: Ensure every patient receives warm, seamless, high-quality care This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being “the right hand” to leadership — someone who brings structure, confidence and calm to a busy centre.
